The Locker Room Support Attendant is responsible for assisting both locker rooms in maintaining the highest level of cleanliness, order, and presentation throughout the day. This role plays a vital behind-the-scenes function, ensuring towels, amenities, and supplies are fully stocked, coordinating with housekeeping for timely refreshes, and
supporting the Locker Room Attendants in delivering Shell Bay’s elevated member experience.
Responsibilities
● Monitor and restock supplies throughout both locker rooms including:
○ Towels, spa products, toiletries, beverages, and paper goods
● Ensure all locker room areas—including showers, vanities, lounges, and spa
amenities— are clean, fresh, and guest-ready at all times
● Maintain clear and professional communication with Housekeeping and Locker
Room Attendants to proactively address any needs or issues
● Respond quickly and efficiently to any supply shortages or member-facing
concerns
● Assist with light cleaning and organization to support overall appearance
between housekeeping cycles
● Support Locker Room Attendants with setup tasks, amenities organization, and
light guest-facing requests as needed
● Ensure all service areas align with Shell Bay’s elevated visual and operational
standards
Education & Experience Qualifications
● High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months
related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience
● Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties
of the job (i.e., the associates may be required to communicate with English
speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates
may use are in English)
● Prior experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or luxury service environments
preferred
● Strong eye for detail and cleanliness
● Ability to work discreetly and professionally in gender-specific spaces
Working Conditions

● Frequently go up and down stairs
● Occasionally lifts up to 30 pounds
● Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions
● Frequently works with cleaning supplies and chemicals
● Noise level is moderate
● Frequently establishes conversations with member and guest
● Ability to use ipad and other electronic devices
● Occasionally use of soft chemicals (alcohol, bleach and surfaces cleaner)
● During the season, must be able to work weekends, holidays and/or evenings if
required
