The LIV Golf League is the world’s only global golf league featuring 13 teams, a 14-tournament schedule, and many of the world’s best golfers. Launched in 2022, the League was designed to expand the sport on a global level and create new value within the golfing ecosystem while enhancing the game’s societal impact. HISTORY
LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event Invitational Series with tournaments across the U.S., Europe and Asia. 2023 saw the first official season of the LIV Golf League, establishing the sport’s first professional golf teams captained by many of the game’s most decorated superstars competing in 14 events around the world.
The format respects golf’s history and traditions with updates for modern-day sports fans; three days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, and simultaneous team and individual competitions, offering a faster tournament that drives engaging storylines and offers an immersive fan experience. The League’s award-winning events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast to over 500 million homes worldwide, showcase world-class competition within a family-friendly environment. Music entertainment, live concerts and a festival-style atmosphere play a signature role with LIV Golf, a two-time winner of the World’s Best Golf Event from the World Golf Awards and a Sports Business Awards Finalist for Sports Event of the Year.
LIV Golf continues to expand its reach by bringing the League to new and returning markets featuring some of the most iconic venues in the world. It has also introduced free agency to professional golf, integrating end-of-season player promotion and relegation, team trades and off-season roster movement that drive year-round fan engagement, embraced by many of the world’s most popular sports.

Role Objective
Reporting into the Director, Transactions, the Team Transactions Manager is responsible for the delivery of the transactions function for our twelve teams, and ownership of player payments. This includes management of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking, and Employee Expenses. This role will also own various Treasury procedures and work with the finance and technology teams to ensure any necessary enhancements to reports, processes and policies. With Teams launching at the beginning of 2023, this role has a startup feel with the right candidate comfortable overseeing the function as well as supporting on day-to-day tasks.
Responsibilities
Ownership of the Team Finance Accounts Payable function, including:
Ownership of the Team Finance Accounts Receivable function, including:
Customer management
Invoices and sales
Debt collection
Reconciliation
Reporting & review
Ownership of the banking and treasury management function, including:
Managing banking relationships
Oversight, execution, and administration of the banking process
Oversight for loan repayments, adherence with facility agreement terms and covenant compliance
Reporting & risk compliance
Debt and interest schedules
Cash position
Cashflow forecasting and reporting support
Oversight of the cash management process
Work with wider finance teams for cash movement within the group
Treasury administration
Account openings and closings
Ownership of the employee expenses management function, including:
Managing employee credit cards and limits
Expense review and posting
Supporting the management and control of expense policies
Expense system and interface with the systems support
Systems / Procedures
Project management for supporting the creation of a robust transaction process for Teams
System owner, ensuring controls compliance and ongoing maintenance of the system
Team Management
Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounts functions, treasury operations and cash management
Familiarity with a global ERP system
Experience of working effectively in a senior management team environment
Previously managed multiple projects and tasks at the same time
Reputation for integrity and ethics
US exposure or experience is preferred
