Description
The Greenskeeper works collaboratively with all staff members in the maintenance and care of turf equipment to ensure optimal performance and course conditions. This role requires a professional and driven individual who consistently operates with high standards of efficiency and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Greens Section Work
- Fix ball marks.
- Mow greens.
- Hand rake bunkers.
- Blow debris.
- Hand rake cart paths.
- Walk mow tees and collars.
- Walk mow rough around greens and bunkers.
- Fill tee and fairway divots.
- Clipping disposal.
- Triplex mow approaches and runoffs.
- Mow fairways.
- Mow primary rough.
- Rotary mow green and tee surrounds.
- Spot water fairways/rough.
- Pump water from the golf course.
- Native work.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Demonstrate time management skills, with the ability to complete essential tasks promptly before daily play begins.
- A clear understanding of the operational and performance expectations for turf maintenance equipment, particularly within a high-level private facility.
- Must be motivated by demanding work environment.

- Reliable and predictable attendance is required.
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, use hands to handle or feel, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk.
- Ability to lift 50lbs, and to lift overhead and push or pull lighter objects.
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
