Galway Bay Golf is hiring a Greenkeeper to join their team. The role will be reporting to the Gold Course Superintendent.

Function:

A greenkeeper will be responsible for performing all work details relating to general golf course maintenance and maintenance of the entire property at Galway Bay Golf Resort. This will involve operating a variety of maintenance equipment, for which full training will be given.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

· Perform turf mowing of greens, tees, fairways and rough.

· Complete bunker grooming, edging and raking.

· Maintain top dressing of turf areas

· Be responsible for daily course set-up, including pin placement, tee marker rotation, retrieving any rubbish from the golf course and property

· Approach all encounters with guests, members and colleagues in a friendly service orientated manner.

· Comply at all times with Galway Bay Golf Resort’s safety standards and regulations to ensure safe operations

· Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Galway Bay Golf Resort’s standards as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the golf course

· Perform any other duties as assigned by management
