Reporting to the North America (NAM) Golf Ball Planning Manager, the Senior Golf Ball Planning Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining the Master Production Schedule for golf balls across both custom and stock product lines. This position is responsible for creating monthly buy plans in support of the NAM forecast needs while managing overall inventories. The senior analyst is a critical cross-functional partner across Supply Chain, Sales Operations, and Commercial Finance teams, and champions operational alignment in support of NAM wholesale and ecommerce business channels.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain Master Production Schedule for golf balls in accordance with commercial unit forecasts, Sales & Operations Plan (S&OP), safety stock requirements, and Available-To-Promise (ATP) service targets
- Create monthly buy strategy to support NAM ball business while adhering to working capital and supply coverage KPIs
- Proactively identify and resolve supply shortages stemming from capacity availability or sales activity
- Facilitate communication with internal and external manufacturing partners regarding production volumes and inventory requirements
- Maintains appropriate safety stock inventory levels and supply constraints
- Collaborate with commercial partners to develop mitigation strategies for excess and obsolete inventory
- Actively work to become a subject matter expert on TaylorMade’s supply planning tools and lead system testing and enhancement initiatives
- Analyze back-order reporting; develop recovery strategies for out-of-stock items
- Collaborate with product team on product life-cycle management to support ramp up and phase out initiatives
- Support monthly reporting deliverables across S&OP, OTB Reviews, and buy approval cycles
- Drive process continuous improvement through collaboration with operations, planning, and sales teams
- Performs other responsibilities as required
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels
- Strong knowledge of materials requirements planning, order management, and supply chain management
- Ability to influence decisions using data-driven insights
- Advanced Excel and data management skills required
- Working knowledge of MRP software such as Oracle Supply Cloud
- Ability to develop and maintain professional and constructive cross-functional relationships
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to attend to multiple concurrent priorities
- Passion for sports required, with passion/interest/knowledge for golf strongly preferred
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Operations, or closely related field
- 5+ years of experience in scheduling/planning; inventory management; production/material control including extensive use of computer databases and inventory management systems
- Experience with MRP systems (Oracle and Planning Central)
- APICS certification preferred
- Golf industry knowledge/experience strongly preferred
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone usage
- Ability to work extended hours as necessary
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials
- Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time

We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
