GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for planning, controlling, and directing the day-to-day activities for multiple shifts at the Club Car Evans Plant. Areas of responsibility include all tasks and processes associated with typical receiving, material handling, storage, inventory management, picking, packaging, and shipping of production and service parts. Management of all in-house PIV fleet, as required.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Coordinate and lead the unloading, loading, receipt, and put away of materials and returnable dunnage. Resolves all aspects of complex customer issues and provides prompt responses to customer questions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and lead inventory control processes such as cycle counting, ad-hoc counting, and physical inventories. Analyze and report results, identify root causes and lead improvement activities. Resolves all aspects of complex customer issues and provides prompt responses to customer questions in a timely manner.
- Train, coach and monitor the performance of the Plant Receiving and Inventory Control teams. Ensure timely, fair, and equitable dealing with associate issues. Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the work environment. Communicate continuously with all employees using daily shift meetings, MDI, one-on-one meetings, and other communication venues as needed. Deal decisively with difficult and complex circumstances. Lead and participate in productivity savings activities. Maintain good housekeeping in all areas of responsibility.
- Maintains and manages equipment to accomplish the Warehouse objectives while considering cost implications.
- Assist outside departments with resolving issues or potential issues that are related to receiving, returnable, JIT storage, and inventory issues. Coordinate closely with other groups within Club Car to ensure cohesive interactions to best achieve all objectives and meet shareholder expectations.
- Ensure that adequate supplies and work tools are available for each area. Ensure that all warehouse activities and associates are complying to company and department policies and procedures.
- Recommended changes in the organization to include hiring, disciplinary action, and termination of associates within the group. Plans workforce needs, interviews, makes hiring recommendations, monitors/evaluates performance, makes salary recommendations, and counsels assigned staff. Trains and develops Associates to ensure they have the necessary skills to exceed expectations.
- Establishes and reports on performance measurements in accordance with the goals stated in the department.
- Maintains a safe and productive work environment that is focused on customer quality and efficiency.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
Experience:
- 3-5 years’ successful experience with perpetual inventory systems, warehouse management systems, general accounting principles and MRP and ERP systems highly desired.
- 3-5 years’ successful experience with material flow principles such as JIT, Kanban, 5S and other methods highly desired.
- 3-5 years’ successful experience as a team leadership (Supervisory) in fast-paced operations highly desired.
- Candidate must have demonstrated experience coordinating, facilitating discussions, consultation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Professional communication; both verbal and written are required.

- Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
