The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing and expanding TaylorMade’s data and analytics capabilities. This role will be a key contributor in the design, development, and maintenance of reporting solutions that empower data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across TaylorMade’s global business to identify business needs, provide actionable insights, and drive strategic initiatives.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
Develop and support reporting solutions that provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders across the organization
Gather, organize, and analyze data from various sources to generate actionable insights and support decision making processes.
Create data visualizations to communicate findings effectively using tools like Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Perform advanced data analysis using SQL to develop datasets and troubleshoot issues.
Design, build and maintain data pipelines to ensure data integrity and availability.
Works with business users to define requirements as well as educate and mentor them in the use of BI tools.
Analyze large datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and communicate insights that contribute to the decision making process within the business.
Communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders. Provide recommendations to stakeholders on ways to organize data, build relevant dashboards, and process improvements to support business initiatives.
Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, using clear visualizations and impactful narratives.
Leads future projects to expand our business intelligence environment and capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
Proactively identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to ensure accurate and reliable data for analysis.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Experience with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools (Domo, Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau)
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
Experience with Snowflake preferred
Experience structuring, analyzing, and visualizing large, complex data sets
Experience designing ETL processes and understanding of data integration techniques
Knowledge of data warehouse best practices
Experience with ERP reporting solutions (Oracle EBS preferred)
Knowledge of data governance policies, procedures, and standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks
Drive to achieve results and take on new and diverse tasks in satisfying the needs of the business
Ability to develop strong working relationships with all relevant parties and has a strong team focused approach
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively to IT management as well as business area users
Ability to work on a team and effectively operate in a cross-team environment
Experience with cloud data warehouse technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, Google BigQuery)
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Fivetran) preferred
Programming languages such as Python/API development
Experience with Agile tools and frameworks
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics or a related field
2-4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics or data engineering
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone usage.
Ability to work extended hours as necessary.
Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
Frequent travel may be required.
TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annualbase pay range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
