Set on the outskirts of Yeovil Town, Yeovil Golf Club is a 27 hole parkland facility. With 18 holes set in Dorset and 9 holes in Somerset. We set out to meet and exceed the expectations of our members and visitors.

Due to a team member progressing in their career, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and progressive individual to join our team in the position of Assistant Greenkeeper.

The successful candidate will be someone with high standards of work and a keen eye for detail, be a team player with excellent communication skills, and passionate about their chosen career.

Applicants with no prior industry experience will be considered if they have the right attitude and work ethic. Training can be provided if needed.

The successful candidate will be working with a strong team of 9 that are focused on progressing the business together. Attitude, work ethic, and how the individual fits within the team will be a major deciding factor in this role.

Applicants will ideally possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:

Proficiency in the usage and maintenance of modern golf course equipment or similar
Can work in a team environment or as an individual
A progressive approach to the job
Greenkeeping experience or similar
Qualifications are not essential, but NVQ level 2 in greenkeeping, spraying certificates, and chainsaw certificates would be an advantage.
