The 2nd Shift Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Inbound, Picking, and Packing departments within our Distribution Center. This position ensures operational excellence by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and auditing work to maintain productivity and quality standards aligned with the Peter Millar mission of delivering exceptional customer service.
This shift is Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00am
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow & Productivity:
- Monitor daily operations and assist managers in setting priorities.
- Track productivity and conduct coaching sessions to meet performance standards.
- Set daily pick goals and adjust staffing to achieve targets.
- Safety & Maintenance:
- Ensure workspaces remain clean and equipment is safe and operational.
- Promote adherence to safety protocols across all tasks.
- Leadership & Training:
- Train team members on efficient processes and proper equipment use.
- Develop associates through on-the-job training and skill-building initiatives.
- Assign and reassign tasks based on operational needs, focusing on quality and efficiency.
- Quality & Continuous Improvement:
- Audit picking accuracy and address root causes of errors.
- Collaborate with managers on staffing plans and peak season preparation.
- Support major projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Foster strong relationships across teams in the Distribution Center and corporate offices.
- Communicate effectively to ensure alignment with company goals.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2–3 years of experience in a distribution center or logistics environment.
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in Windows-based systems and MS Office (Word, Excel).
- WMS experience strongly preferred.
