G/Fore is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Women’s Associate Designer to join our dynamic Design Team in Raleigh! This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design process for a leading brand in the golf and active lifestyle industry. You will collaborate closely with the women’s design team and cross-functional partners—including Product Development and Technical Design—to bring innovative concepts to life while maintaining brand integrity and quality standards.
At G/Fore, we offer a wide range of golf and lifestyle apparel, giving you the chance to design across multiple categories such as outerwear, tops, bottoms, and dresses, within cut-and-sew knits, wovens, and knitwear.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Create detailed CADs with construction call outs for multiple product categories
- Assists in initial TP set up and maintenance
- Making print pitch sheets with color and print technique call outs
- Assist in coordinating and completing special assignments and projects as required
- Collaborate with various staff including Design Management in creating boards, color cards/decks as needed
- Assists Design Team and Management in miscellaneous tasks such as filling, organizing, scanning and photocopying if and when needed
- Lab dip/ submit review
- Vendor communication
- Attend fittings and partner with technical team on garment fits & adjustments
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Digital Art, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in apparel design (activewear or lifestyle preferred) Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with PLM systems a plus
- Basic knowledge of garment construction and fit Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills Creative mindset with trend awareness and adaptability
