Position Summary:
The Vice President of Business Development, International will lead SkyTrak’s global growth strategy by owning the P&L across multiple international divisions, including Europe/UK, Dubai, South America, Australia, Asia, and Canada. This executive will be responsible for establishing international sales channels, managing distributor and 3PL relationships, and expanding SkyTrak’s presence in hardware, studio, and software markets. The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven leader with a proven track record of building international business operations, achieving sales growth targets, and leading profitable market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute country-specific strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Manage forecasting, annual budgets, and performance targets across regions.
- Channel Development: Identify, establish, and scale new sales channels in each assigned region. Build direct account relationships while creating a structured distributor and reseller network to maximize reach.
- Market Entry Strategy: Design tailored go-to-market strategies for each region, factoring in local consumer behaviors, pricing sensitivities, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscapes.
- Distributor & Partner Management: Recruit, onboard, and manage distributors, resellers, and retail partners. Negotiate agreements, set clear performance expectations, and ensure ongoing alignment with growth objectives.
- Account Expansion: Drive new account development with golf retailers, training facilities, golf course operators, academies, and sports technology resellers to accelerate adoption of SkyTrak’s ecosystem (hardware, studio, and software).
- Sales Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, quarterly targets, and reporting through CRM systems. Monitor performance against KPIs and adjust strategies as needed.
- Pricing & Commercial Strategy: Create region-specific pricing strategies that align with market realities while maintaining brand equity and profitability. Partner with finance on currency, taxation, and compliance considerations.
- Solution Selling: Position SkyTrak as an integrated ecosystem rather than standalone products. Train and enable partners on hardware/software/studio synergies and unique differentiators.
- Competitive Intelligence: Continuously monitor international competitors, pricing models, and regional dynamics to inform strategy and maintain market leadership.
- Partnership Building: Develop alliances with complementary brands (golf simulators, academies, software companies) to expand reach and strengthen SkyTrak’s global value proposition.
- Trade Shows & Events: Represent SkyTrak at international trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote the brand and build relationships.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate senior-level relationships with top accounts, providing executive-level support and partnership.
- Partner with the International Marketing Manager to amplify the SkyTrak brand story across all global regions.
- Collaborate on tailored campaigns, product launches, and promotional strategies designed to maximize regional impact.
- Build scalable systems and processes to support international expansion.
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations, policies, and local business laws.
- Drive operational efficiency in international logistics, pricing execution, and supply chain performance.
