The Sales Manager Strategic and Corporate Accounts drives service, revenue, and contribution to profit across the Sales organization. They are responsible for representing the Sun Day Red brand, mission, vision and values to our largest accounts, while setting and executing the strategic account, corporate, and off-price sales strategy. This person will use marketplace knowledge, commercial strategies and trusted relationships to drive results for both the customer and the brand. They will report directly to the Head of Sales.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- Builds and maintains strong partnerships with Strategic, Corporate, and Off-price retailers.
- Achieves business goals and objectives selling and promoting Sun Day Red products.
- Educates and informs retail partners on Sun Day Red products, brand, and culture to ensure proper representation, growth, sell-through, and adoption.
- Identifies and delivers new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
- Maximizes the success of each customer’s potential through detailed planning and analysis of trends.
- Develops annual and seasonal business plans to align SKU and door growth against forecasts.
- Supports marketing efforts to drive brand representation, sell-through and margin within each channel.
- Prepares and communicates routine business updates regarding selling performance, customer data, and market performance.
- Aligns seasonal Sun Day Red go-to-market timelines and responds to marketplace opportunities.
- Oversees contractual agreements, policies, and vendor manuals for all Strategic Customers.
- Manages the service requirements for all sales channels, including bulk, order, and delivery performance.
- Ensures delivery of best-in-class service experiences and interactions to Sales Representatives and customers.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to accurately forecast and track financial and unit results.
- Excellent knowledge of Sun Day Red products, features, and benefits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience operating within an enterprise resource planning software, Oracle preferred.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels.
- Ability to accurately assess talent and effectively motivate and influence others to build skills, efficiently accomplish tasks, and develop leading edge processes.
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
- BS Degree in relevant field, or related work experience in lieu of degree.
- 5-10 years experience in a similar sales capacity within the apparel industry.
- Prior National/Strategic Account Management experience preferred.
- Experience in golf apparel/footwear preferred.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone use.
- Ability to work extended hours as necessary, including weekends.
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
- Up to 50% travel may be required.
TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $125,000-$140,000. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
