You will design and implement scalable systems, ensure cross-platform performance, and contribute to creating innovative, real-world solutions powered by Unity. This role requires strong technical expertise in Unity, multiplayer systems, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Job Description:
As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing Unity-based applications that go beyond traditional games—spanning enterprise, simulation, and real-time interactive solutions. You will work extensively with multiplayer architectures, integrate backend and device systems, and ensure smooth runtime performance across platforms. You’ll also collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver impactful, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Unity-based enterprise and simulation applications
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and modular systems
- Work on multiplayer features, including matchmaking, real-time communication, and session management
- Optimize rendering, physics, and runtime efficiency across platforms (PC, mobile, embedded devices)
- Integrate APIs, SDKs, backend systems, and real-time data streams with Unity applications
- Conduct profiling, debugging, and troubleshooting of runtime issues
- Collaborate in defining the technical roadmap and evaluating new Unity features/tools
- Work within agile teams, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional Unity development experience across shipped projects (enterprise apps, simulation tools, or games)
- Strong proficiency in C# and Unity’s scripting API
- Solid knowledge of Unity core systems (physics, rendering, asset management, input, scene management)
- Hands-on experience with multiplayer systems (matchmaking, synchronization, networking flows)
- Experience with Nakama or similar backend solutions for multiplayer game services
- Experience integrating backend services (REST, WebSocket, gRPC, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with performance profiling and optimization
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Must be based in Izmir
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
