We are seeking a Brand Marketing Manager to develop and execute initiatives that drive brand awareness and revenue growth for our global golf footwear and apparel brand. They are the critical point of connection between the G/FORE golf & influencer business and the marketing strategies, ideas and materials. This position uses sales, consumer, competitive, and marketplace information to develop marketing plans and allocate budgets to achieve the strongest result. This is an internal and external facing role so strong communication, collaboration and customer service skills are essential. This position serves as the liaison to the company's tour players and brand ambassadors as well as our editorial partners and our growing consumer base. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of branding and communications, along with a passion for golf and a track record of success in driving brand growth and building effective teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive brand and communications strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong media relationships, and proactively identify opportunities for brand exposure.
- Oversee all aspects of the company's public relations efforts, including press releases, media pitches, and media events.
- Responsible for developing and managing relationships between players, ambassadors, influencers and agents.
- Work closely with brand leadership to identify opportunities and challenges; tackle tasks and ensure that business goals are met.
- Uses exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interface with cross-functional teams, such as embroidery, marketing, events, design and creative. Quickly create collateral, using Adobe Illustrator or similar programs.
- Remain up to date on the golf industry, to include following competitors and their activity and provide insight and recommendations for marketing strategies.
- Work with Design, Merchandising and Store teams to understand nature and timing of product launches and provide the accompanying marketing materials.
- Collaborate with digital marketing team to develop and/or refine strong working knowledge of all types of new marketing/media such as mobile, social, native advertising, retargeting, podcasts, influencers, and more.
- Place, track and follow through on apparel and accessory orders for marketing initiatives, to include tour player outfitting, brand ambassador wardrobing, promotional needs, VIP outfitting and podcast outfitting.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS in Marketing or related field
- Experience in the Golf industry preferred
- 4+ years of Marketing Experience
- Must be highly skilled with creating spreadsheets and analyzing data using Excel
- Proficient with order entry and management software used internally including Blue Cherry, VR Link and Softeon
- Experienced with Microsoft Excel to be used in reporting and Adobe Acrobat to be used in editing PDFs
The annual salary for this position is $100,000.00. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible to participate in the company's annual performance bonus program. This program rewards individuals and teams for achieving specific goals and contributing to the overall success of the organization. Bonus payments are typically made at the end of the fiscal year, and eligibility is determined by meeting pre-defined performance metrics and being employed at the time of bonus distribution.
