Role Overview
Lahinch Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Teaching Professional to join our esteemed coaching team. Reporting to the Head Professional, the successful candidate will provide expert instruction to golfers of all levels, primarily within our state-of-the-art Indoor Performance Centre and Short Game Academy. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to player development at one of the world’s most iconic golf destinations.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective coaching sessions tailored to individual needs.
Conduct club fittings and performance assessments using advanced technology:
Trackman
SAM PuttLab
SAM BalanceLab
PuttView
Manage the Junior Golf Programme, fostering development and engagement among young players
Work closely with the Head Professional to enhance and promote coaching programmes across the club.
Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for members and guests.
Work flexibly to accommodate weekend coaching and occasional special events.
Requirements
PGA qualification or 3rd Year Trainee
Proven experience in golf instruction across a range of skill levels.
Familiarity with performance technology and data-driven coaching.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to contribute to social media or digital content related to coaching.
