SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
The Vice President, Transformation is the executive accountable for leading Club Car's commercial acceleration strategy. This key leader is responsible for the strategy and overseeing the execution of Club Car's go-to-market across all business segments. The VPT will work cross functionally with Field Sales, Marketing, Product and Finance teams to deliver comprehensive plans and flawless execution.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Strategic Market Insight Development: Champion the creation and continuous refinement of enterprise-level market intelligence capabilities. Leverage data-driven insights to shape long-term strategy, identify emerging opportunities, and guide executive decision-making across product, sales, and marketing functions.
- Build Go-to-Market & Launch Capabilities: Design and operationalize a best-in-class go-to-market framework that accelerates product readiness and market penetration. Drive alignment across business units to ensure launch excellence and sustained commercial success.
- Establish Integrated Product Launch Operations: Lead cross-functional integration of product launch activities, ensuring seamless coordination between product development, marketing, sales, and operations. Develop governance models and performance metrics to optimize launch execution and post-launch performance.
- Develop Robust Dealer Onboarding & Enablement Programs: Design and implement strategic onboarding initiatives that empower dealer networks with the tools, training, and support needed to drive adoption, brand consistency, and customer satisfaction. Ensure alignment with broader channel strategy and business objectives.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Will participate as a senior leader in the organization. Outside of functional teams, relationships will be finance, marketing, customers, channel partners and vendors.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in business, marketing, engineering or related area (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience leading go-to-market development in a OEM/Channel Partner distribution environment
- 5+ year of developing promotions/markdowns budgets, including accountability for promotional spend & results
- 10+ years of collaborating with Field Sales & Product Management teams for an OEM vehicle manufacturer
- 10+ years leading cross functional commercial efforts with large teams
- 5+ year designing & executing robust OEM/Channel Partner order-to-delivery & inventory management systems
- 5+ years designing and executing long-range strategic plans
- 5+ years of effectively leading teams
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong influential leadership competencies to organize and motivate teams in an indirect and/or complex organizational structure.
- Outstanding leadership, teamwork, mentoring and development of abilities.
- Positive experience in change management, with relevant examples.
- Clear strategic thinker; proven experience in translating strategies into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills with ability to perform technical presentations to experienced engineers.
- Focused approach, target oriented and a high degree of employee and customer engagement required.
- Willing to travel, approximately 25%.
