Job Purpose
The primary responsibility of a House Attendant is to assist arriving and departing members and guests with their luggage, golf clubs, and other personal items. The House Attendant is also responsible for making the members and guests feel as welcome and comfortable as possible by setting up service bars, stocking fireplaces, delivering newspapers, and assisting with miscellaneous housekeeping duties, while maintaining the strict confidentiality of all Club business.
Essential Functions of the Job
Assists all arriving and departing members and guests with luggage, golf clubs, and other personal items.
Welcomes and greetsarriving members and guests and escorts them to their accommodation.
Escorts departing members to the Club van, their personal automobile or other form of transportation and assists them with their luggage and other personal items.
Able to valet cars if member/guests drive on property in personal vehicles.
Ensures the member and guest room is fully prepared and the member’s green jacket is in the accommodation prior to arrival.
Prepares the member’s in-room bar with liquor, garnishes and barware and stocks refrigerators in accordance to SOP.
Handles member special requests such as newspaper delivery, fireplace care, light housekeeping or other requests.
Performs light housekeeping around the cabins to include sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning porches, removing trash, or any other needed duties.
Acknowledge and adhere to and direction from Services Support Attendant via radio to deliver items to and from member accommodations.
Deliver supplies to member spaces.
Retrieve soiled linen from member spaces.

Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
Constantly required to use hands and fingers to handle or lift items up to 50 pounds, and/or drive a golf cart.
Constantly required to stand and walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms.

Other Duties and Responsibilities
Answersany questions members or guests may have upon their arrival to the best of their ability while maintaining the confidentiality of all Club business.
Performs all other duties deemed by theClubhouse Manager to be an integral part of the job.
Maintain cleanliness of golf cart. Report any issues to the Clubhouse Manager or Housekeeping Managers.
Transport and stores member personal belongings to include bars, green jackets and other personal items.
- Complete tasks as assigned by Clubhouse and Housekeeping Managers.

Ability to communicate in an effective manner in order to make the members and guests feel welcome
Relative Experience/Education:
Must be available for a varying work schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
