As a Purchaser, you will play a key role in keeping our supply chain running smoothly. You will support procurement strategy development by tracking inventory movements, ensuring timely material availability, and contributing to supplier and contract decisions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys working with numbers and people, and is excited to grow their career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
You will be involved in everything from raising purchase orders and negotiating prices, to coordinating with suppliers and resolving discrepancies. Your work will directly impact our production timelines and contribute to our ability to deliver high-quality products on time.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with the planning team to purchase parts from suppliers and distributors in line with production schedules
- Evaluate and select suppliers and contract manufacturers to meet cost and quality targets
- Negotiate pricing and delivery terms to ensure timely availability of materials
- Raise internal purchase and sales orders to support the flow of goods within the company
- Process Goods Received Notices (GRNs) for deliveries made to contract manufacturers
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely supplier payments
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies between the factory and the Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) system
- Support initiatives to reduce excess inventory and manage product end-of-life planning

- Proficient in both spoken and written Mandarin to liaise effectively with China-based suppliers
- Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across teams and regions
- Demonstrated interest in procurement and supply chain operations, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Team-oriented, with a positive attitude and a collaborative approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as Netsuite is a plus
- Comfortable working with data, documents, and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
