We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Golf (DOG) to serve as the Club’s Golf Ambassador. This highly visible position requires a leader who exemplifies integrity, professionalism, and diplomacy, someone who has a true passion for delivering a premier golf experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary ambassador for Belfair’s golf operations, championing exceptional member
service.
• Lead and develop the golf operations team, including the Head Golf Professional, Director of
Instruction, Merchandise Manager, Golf Shop and Outside Services teams, and Learning Center
staff.
• Develop and manage the annual golf operations budget; monitor performance and implement
strategic improvements.
• Oversee the planning and execution of all golf events, leagues, and tournaments.
• Maintain high-quality experiences for members and guests through operational excellence and
attention to detail.
• Collaborate with club leadership and the board to drive innovative programming and support
long-term strategic goals.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in golf operations.
• PGA Member in good standing.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and golf management software.
• Proven ability to manage events, projects, and scheduling in a dynamic environment.
• High level of professionalism with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Compensation:
Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a competitive salary along with annual performance-based bonuses.
