SaddleBrooke TWO is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual for the role of Assistant Golf Professional. SaddleBrooke TWO, located just north of Tucson, AZ, owns The Preserve and MountainView Golf Clubs. Recently, SaddleBrooke TWO’s MountainView Golf Club went through a $6M course renovation to bring it to the standards of the community. New tee decks, new bunkers, and state of the art irrigation system were added during the project. MountainView has received outstanding reviews from Members, Guests, and Associates.
The Assistant Professional will be responsible for, but not limited to, deliver world-class service to every member and guest, provide golf lessons to members, assist with day-to-day operations, help with golf shop merchandise, and tournament operations.
Experience Required
- Preferred high end semi-private or private club experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS and online tee sheets
- Advanced organizational and communication skills

Essential Responsibilities
- Assists in administering all point of sales application revisions and needs as it applies to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing.
- Reconciles daily tee sheets, performs check-in, and receives payments from members and guests. Resolves discrepancies as it applies to duplicate charges and over or under payment. Tracks all “force posts” and “no show charges as applicable.
- Promotes all club golf activities.
- Assists in the creation of lesson plans and provides both individual and group instruction.
- Maintains a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop.
- Prepares for all golf outings including coordinating scorecards, cart labels, rules sheets, score sheets, format sheets, favors, pairing sheets and hole assignments.
- Monitors all members’ scores, reports handicapping to USGA.
- Follows established opening and closing procedures.
- Assists with associate training.
- In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel:
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve member and guest of member satisfaction.
- Communicates any changes or new policies and procedures to the department.
- Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Attends staff meetings daily.
