Job Description
SO/ Sotogrande, a luxurious resort located in the beautiful Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our team. As a Reservation Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable booking experience from start to finish.
- Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online booking platforms
- Provide detailed information about room types, rates, packages, and resort amenities
- Process reservations accurately and efficiently using our reservation management system
- Upsell room upgrades and additional services to maximize revenue
- Assist guests with modifying or canceling reservations as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest requests and special requirements are met
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of promotions, events, and local attractions
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Generate reports and maintain reservation records as required
- Support the front desk team during peak times or as needed
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English (additional languages are a plus)
- Proficiency in reservation management systems and basic computer skills (MS Office)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service (1-2 years preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field (preferred)
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest experiences
