ABOUT LIV GOLF
The LIV Golf League is the world’s only global golf league featuring 13 teams, a 14-tournament schedule, and many of the world’s best golfers. Launched in 2022, the League was designed to expand the sport on a global level and create new value within the golfing ecosystem while enhancing the game’s societal impact. HISTORY
LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event Invitational Series with tournaments across the U.S., Europe and Asia. 2023 saw the first official season of the LIV Golf League, establishing the sport’s first professional golf teams captained by many of the game’s most decorated superstars competing in 14 events around the world.
The format respects golf’s history and traditions with updates for modern-day sports fans; three days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, and simultaneous team and individual competitions, offering a faster tournament that drives engaging storylines and offers an immersive fan experience. The League’s award-winning events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast to over 500 million homes worldwide, showcase world-class competition within a family-friendly environment. Music entertainment, live concerts and a festival-style atmosphere play a signature role with LIV Golf, a two-time winner of the World’s Best Golf Event from the World Golf Awards and a Sports Business Awards Finalist for Sports Event of the Year.
LIV Golf continues to expand its reach by bringing the League to new and returning markets, featuring some of the most iconic venues in the world. It has also introduced free agency to professional golf, integrating end-of-season player promotion and relegation, team trades and offseason roster movement that drive year-round fan engagement embraced by many of the world’s most popular sports.

Role objectives
Reporting to the SVP, Head of International Series, the Commercial Director will be responsible for liaising with the International Series partner agencies and developing/managing strategic partnerships and alliances with potential partners, suppliers and host venues. The Commercial Director will work cross-functionally with other teams within the business to ensure successful collaboration and maximum commercial growth within the business.
Responsibilities
· Being the central point of contact to focus all conversations relating to International Series assets, including activation and planning calls with clients, creating agendas and providing summaries
· Individual selling goals to be focused on the Series opportunities – Naming Rights, Rankings and Title Partner positions.
· Support EMCs with materials and direction for local partnerships
· Maintaining a partnerships pipeline, which tracks conversations, categories and potential funding for Series-wide opportunities and individual events
· Monitor and continuously maximise all assets related to the International Series
· Ensuring that materials, support information, videos and presentations are always up to date and befitting of the Series
· Creating bespoke materials with the design agency to support individual sponsor conversations
· Providing the Head of the International Series with weekly progress reports
· Managing the relationships with partner agencies and other affiliates
· Analyse and track data, reports and partnership performance across media and digital performances
· Supporting all parties with heads of terms, documents, contracts and any other required information
· Working closely with finance to track and maintain partnership target updates including salesforce
· Working closely with the LIV Golf Partnerships Team to evaluate opportunities offering cross-benefits across LIV
Experience & Required Skills
· Proven experience working in sports partnership management
· Experience managing large-scale global partnerships and the planning and execution of activation programs
· Creative strategist with the ability to provide solutions that address client needs
· Strong background in strategic brand and partnership management
· Strong understanding of sports and entertainment sponsorships, including promotions, events, media and contracts
· High level of commitment to a quality work product and organisational ethics, integrity and compliance
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
· Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills
· Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
· Strategic selling experience
· Ability to multi-task and creatively solve day-to-day challenges
· Strong understanding of the marketplace on a global level
· Ability to travel and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Knowledge of Professional Golf (preferred)
· Previous experience working with professional athletes (preferred)
