As a Junior Purchaser on a 1-Year contract, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting our supply chain - from placing purchase orders to tracking deliveries and working with vendors. You’ll collaborate across teams to make sure the right materials arrive at the right time, every time. Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
- Place purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to support production and project schedules.
- Source quotes, check lead times, and assist with cost comparisons.
- Keep ERP/MRP records updated with the latest prices, delivery dates, and supplier info.
Vendor & Inventory Coordination
- Communicate with suppliers and freight partners to resolve delays or changes.
- Work closely with the Warehouse and Finance teams on material readiness and invoices.
- Support documentation and compliance for international shipments.
Team Collaboration
- Work with the Quality team to address any supplier-related issues.
- Monitor component trends (e.g., lead times or price increases) and report risks.
- Support general procurement and logistics functions as part of a cross-functional team.
- Fresh graduate with a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Mandarin Chinese language skills (spoken and written) required.
- Strong interest in procurement, purchasing, and operations.
- Proactive, organized, and keen to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus, but not required.
- Comfortable with numbers, documents, and working with multiple stakeholders.
