This position is integral to the Custom Logo Ball process across all golf ball product lines and customization processes. The Artwork Coordinator is responsible for facilitating all artwork across the entire printing process. The coordinator will work closely with a variety of departments including customer service, production, sales, marketing, and external vendors.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and facilitate all artwork from the Artwork Queue and other requests outside the normal processes
- Review Artwork/File types submitted with orders to confirm if files are compatible by using Adobe Creative Suite and printers
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors or contractors to outsource new artwork requests
- Review and ensure artwork is correctly created as originally instructed and manage revisions as needed
- Analysis of artwork to specifications required for print application (Size, Color, Line Weight, etc.)
- Provide suggestions for the required changes to artwork on an as needed basis
- Color separations, corrections, layouts, and proofing artwork
- Color consistency and precision of CMYK and Pantone matching
- Update the internal logo system as needed with order and/or logo information
- Direct logo approvals to corresponding customers
- Address and provide solutions for issues that arise with Internal Teams, Outside Sales Force, and vendors
- Communicate with product creation on logo capabilities for upcoming new product launches
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Familiarity with various art mediums, ink applications and techniques
- Creative to their approach in the business to ensure innovative ideas can be explored
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels
- Able to complete project schedules and ensure timely delivery of artworks
- Keen attention to detail and organization
- Ensures adherence to brand guidelines and project specifications
- Maintains a forward thinking and “can-do” attitude
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in graphic design, hard goods ink application and/or licensing artwork
- Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Golf industry experience is a plus
- Experience using TaylorMade Golf business systems (Oracle and Cricket) is a plus
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone usage
- Able to climb, stoop, bend, reach and use stairs
- Occasional warehouse/manufacturing environment
- Ability to work extended hours, as necessary
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials
- Some travel may be required
