The Tucson Golf Program - Operation 36 Golf Academy is a place where golfers of all ages and ability come to learn to play golf. The Tucson Golf Program has had well over 300 players participate in the Op36 program. Currently operating 4 & 6-week sessions which include up to 10 classes a week as well as 9 hole play days throughout each month.
We are a team of coaches working together to improve at our craft and improve the lives of our students. Currently, we operate out of Randolph, Silverbell and Fred Enke Golf Courses with a Director of Player Development, Director of Instruction, a Lead Assistant, and an Assistant Coach. We meet on a regular basis to collaborate, share ideas and challenge each other to improve. All of us share a deep love for the game of golf and want to pass that on to our students. This Assistant Coach position would be working directly under the Director of Player Development with guidance on coaching from the Director of Instruction.
We are looking for a candidate that is willing to learn the Operation 36 development model, curriculum and become an expert in delivering this program to both juniors and Adults. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring golf instructor to prosper within an already established Academy structure.
The initial position is part-time. But an enterprising and ambitious up-and-comer could turn this position into a lucrative, full time gig in the future. This individual should also have a passion for junior golf as another key role will be in helping facilitate our junior golf programs, from Op36 classes to PGA Jr. League and 3-day camps.
