On behalf of our 5-star client, we are exclusively recruiting for an experienced General Manager to build and lead the team of the newest 5-star resort in Ireland, set to open its doors in Spring 2026. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the success of a world-class property from the ground up, building a strong team and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
This property commands amazing unspoilt views and with over 100 bedrooms, spa and 18 hole golf course it is a long awaited addition to the 5-star market place in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the resort’s vision, ensuring alignment with brand values and long-term goals.
- Foster a guest-centric culture, oversee VIP relations, and continuously enhance service standards.
- Oversee budgeting, revenue strategies, and profitability targets to drive financial success.
- Lead and mentor senior management, implement training programs, and cultivate a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure excellence across all departments, including food & beverage, leisure, and accommodation.
- Strengthen the resort’s reputation through marketing, industry networking, and community engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- BA in Hospitality Management or related field (MA preferred).
- At least 3 years experience in a General Manager role in a luxury resort setting at 5 star level.
- Proven expertise in team leadership, financial management, and guest satisfaction.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
- Pre-Opening experience and experience with Golf Operations is an advantage
