5* Druids Glen Hotel and Golf Resort is currently recruiting a Senior Accommodation Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team.
Responsibilities:
· This is a hands-on role which will require you to deliver the highest standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
· Deliver guest service in the Accommodation and Public Area’s Department, ensuring the agreed standards are achieved at all times.
· Assign and inspect rooms to the agreed standards.
· Identify and support training needs.
· Ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your department product, in addition to being aware of the total hotel facilities.
· To both lead and work as part of the team and manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures.
· To be knowledgeable of cleaning products and ensure team members are trained on same.
· To attend training sessions and hotel and departmental meetings as required, ensuring effective communication at all levels.
· To comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health and Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Licensing and Employment.
· To report and/or take appropriate action on all maintenance issues as they arise.
· To report accidents/incident.
· To comply with agreed environmental practices, throughout the Hotel.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous experience in a 4-5* property
• High level of attention to detail and standards of cleanliness
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with general office PC applications
• Ability to delegate and multitask
• Working knowledge of Hotsoft or similar rooms system
