Sierra Golf Management, Inc. (SGM) is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Golf Course Superintendent at Lemoore Golf Course in Lemoore, CA. SGM is a California based golf management company with a portfolio of 16 Golf Courses in California and Nevada. SGM has been in the golf business since 1993 and is one of the fastest growing management firms in Central California. As a Golf Course Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and management of the golf course grounds. Your main duties will include planning and implementing turf care programs, reporting of pesticide usage, managing irrigation systems, supervising maintenance staff, and ensuring the course meets the highest standards of playability and aesthetics. You will be in charge of monitoring turf health, controlling pests and weeds, and executing landscaping projects to enhance the overall appearance of the course. Additionally, you will collaborate with the management team to develop annual budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality. Strong leadership skills are essential as you will be leading a team of up to nine employees. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of turfgrass management practices, irrigation systems, and golf course equipment maintenance.

Superintendent Experience Preferred but Not Required
Minimum of 5 years experience in golf course maintenance as Assistant Superintendent or Higher
Strong knowledge of turf care practices and irrigation systems
Experience with budgeting, expense tracking, and cost management
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Hold and Maintain a QAL from the State of California
