The Sr. HCM Product Manager, Integrations must have overall knowledge of HR domain activities and understand the impacts of design decisions across the workstream. The Sr IT Product Manager – WFM and Payroll is responsible for supporting HR and IT counterparts, so deliverables are produced according to the project plan. From an implementation perspective, these responsibilities include design through unit and integration testing, system deployment, and post-go-live support. This leader must be able to manage project team members, collaborate across multiple disciplines, resolve complex issues, and confirm that the overall solution aligns with the overall business strategy, emphasizing the complexity surrounding Workforce Management (WFM) and Payroll. must have overall knowledge of HR domain activities and understand the impacts of design decisions across the workstream. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide organizational knowledge and subject matter expertise across HR standard processes, emphasizing all components of WFM (absence management, time & labor, scheduling) and Payroll.
Provide business process knowledge and share leading practices.
Manage the creation of project deliverables consistent with scope, objectives, phase, and stage.
Facilitate and participate in design activities, requirements analysis, documentation, system setup, testing, training, and rollout.
Facilitate discussions to identify appropriate stakeholders and desired outcomes and identify decision-makers for each functional area with special attention on cross-functional impacts.
Provide SME expertise to drive open decisions to conclusions while considering cross-functional impacts.
Consult with other workstreams (enabling tech, data, security) to develop integrated solutions and to identify and mitigate HCM functional impacts.
Drive root cause analysis for complex HCM issues and support collaboration for troubleshooting, resolution, and understanding knock-on impacts across functions.
Provide input into the cutover plan and the hypercare approach.
Contribute to the development of the master data conversion and maintenance strategy.
Contribute to the testing strategy.
Lead other HCM team members through work task execution and delivery to facilitate consistent execution and adherence to the timeline.
Identify and escalate data issues and risks for HCM and support resolutions.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Extensive experience with Workday Studio Integrations
Extensive experience with Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, and Recruiting integrations along with related business processes, and Security requirements
Hands on experience and a deep understanding of XML and XSLT coding
Deep knowledge of HR strategy, processes, and best practices.
Experience operating in and building an auditable and compliant software ecosystem.
Experience managing vendors and strengthening external partnerships.
Effective communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Additional Workday techno-functional experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a global, matrixed environment.
Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Computer Science / Engineering bachelor’s degree or related technical field.
Minimum ten years of firsthand experience designing and leading people technology initiatives.
Minimum ten years of experience leading system assessments and implementations, including project management, risk management, communications, and change management.
Experience operating in and building an auditable and compliant software ecosystem.
