History
LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event ‘Invitational Series.’ 2023 saw the inaugural LIV Golf League host 14 events around the world, from Adelaide to Chicago, Andalucía to Singapore, as well as launch the game’s first Team franchises, captained by some of golf’s most decorated superstars.
The format, respecting the history and traditions of the game, has been optimized for modern day sports fans; 3-days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, offering a faster pace-of play to drive engaging storylines and offer an immersive fan experience.
The events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast around the world to over 300million homes, deliver a family-friendly environment, festival-style atmosphere, evening concert entertainment and world-class competition; a combination that is unique to the world of golf.
In 2024, LIV Golf will further expand the reach of the League, splitting the schedule between some of the most iconic venues across Asia, Europe and the Middle East with decorated venues in the US. The full player pathway, created in partnership with the Asian Tour, also launches, with the game’s first ever player Promotion and Relegation, and Player Transfer Window, as the holistic integration of LIV Golf is fully delivered.

Role Objective
The Senior Manager, Insurance is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company’s global insurance programs, including event insurance, player insurance, liability, and other business-related coverages. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive insurance programs that protect the company’s assets and minimize risks. The Senior Manager, Insurance will also ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and provide expert advice on insurance matters.
Responsibilities
Insurance Program Management
- Manage the business’ insurance programs.
- Review, evaluate and select insurance providers and plans that best meet the needs of the business.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance providers to secure optimal coverage and pricing.
Policy Administration
- Oversee the administration of company insurance policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the renewal process for all insurance plans.
- Coordinate with finance and operations teams to ensure proper documentation and coverage.
Risk Management
- Identify and assess potential risks to the company’s assets and operations.
- Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement loss prevention programs.
- Assist in the development of LIV contracts, and allocation of risk between LIV and third-party stakeholders.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations as well as US federal, state and local regulations related to the company’s insurance.
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.
- Monitor changes in legislation and adjust company policies as needed.
Vendor Management
- Maintain strong relationships with insurance brokers, carriers and other vendors.
- Evaluate vendor performance and address any issues that arise.
- Coordinate regular reviews and audits of insurance plans and policies.

- Manage and oversee the claims process for all insurance policies.
- Work with insurers, legal teams and internal stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently.
- Analyze claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Strategic Planning
- Analyze current insurance programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the value and efficiency of the company’s insurance offerings
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains up to date and competitive.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing commercial insurance programs.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in insurance and risk management software.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPCU, ARM) is a plus.
