The LIV Golf League is the world’s only global golf league featuring 13 teams, a 14-tournament schedule, and many of the world’s best golfers. Launched in 2022, the League was designed to expand the sport on a global level and create new value within the golfing ecosystem while enhancing the game’s societal impact. A landmark investment by LIV Golf also launched The International Series, a set of 10 enhanced events sanctioned by the Asian Tour, with elevated prize funds in world-class destinations, offering a pathway for leading professional and amateur golfers from around the world into the LIV Golf League. HISTORY
LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event Invitational Series with tournaments across the U.S., Europe and Asia. 2023 saw the first official season of the LIV Golf League, establishing the sport’s first professional golf teams captained by many of the game’s most decorated superstars competing in 14 events around the world.
The format respects golf’s history and traditions with updates for modern-day sports fans; three days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, and simultaneous team and individual competitions, offering a faster tournament that drives engaging storylines and offers an immersive fan experience. The League’s award-winning events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast to over 500 million homes worldwide, showcase world-class competition within a family-friendly environment. Music entertainment, live concerts and a festival-style atmosphere play a signature role with LIV Golf, a two-time winner of the World’s Best Golf Event from the World Golf Awards and a Sports Business Awards Finalist for Sports Event of the Year.
LIV Golf continues to expand its reach by bringing the League to new and returning markets featuring some of the most iconic venues in the world. It has also introduced free agency to professional golf, integrating end-of-season player promotion and relegation, team trades and offseason roster movement that drive year-round fan engagement embraced by many of the world’s most popular sports.

ROLE OBJECTIVE
- To manage our commercial partnerships to an outstanding level. Set the benchmark for partnership management in the global sports industry.
- Build deep relationships with key stakeholders at our partner brands. These relationships will act as the foundation for future success.
- Help partners to activate their partnerships in innovative ways, creating unique and memorable experiences that will drive demonstrable ROI.
- Maximise income to LIV Golf Investments by locating and driving incremental revenues from partners.
- Be the reference for what outstanding Partnership Management looks like at LIV Golf, providing best in class service to all partners.
- Support the SVP and VPs of Partnerships (including both Sales and Management) in their goal of building and maintaining a roster of globally reputable brand partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as day-to-day point of contact for a number of LIV Golf’s most prestigious global partners.
- Manage the seamless delivery of creative, results-focused activation initiatives for partners against their brand and business objectives.
- Maintain clear and efficient communication and provision of specialist advice that will allow Partners to maximise specific assets.
- Oversee effective budgeting, reporting and post-campaign analysis of partnership initiatives
- Encourage the cooperation of Partners across wider LIV Golf marketing activities that will enhance the promotion of LIV Golf within the global sports ecosystem.
- Manage the compilation and dissemination of relevant communications materials to ensure internal and external stakeholders are kept abreast of Partner initiatives and updates
- Oversee, coach and develop the Partnership Coordinator(s) to manage partners contractual inventory, and also to develop their skills and future career growth
- Act as an internal champion for Global Partnerships at LIV Golf, proactively working together with key stakeholders to promote an environment that places sponsorship as a central pillar of the business
- Work alongside the VP, Partnership Management to develop new and creative ways for Partners to better activate in the world of golf, for the betterment of their Partnership and for their business
- Work together with the Research & Analytics Team to deliver data and insights to partners, in order to inform their future decision-making whilst reporting on campaign success
- Take an active role in growing the name and reputation of LIV Golf Investments around the world.
EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years’ experience working across global sport & entertainment partnerships and a proven track record of delivering to a high level
- Strong understanding of the global sponsorship landscape and a desire to learn more about the industry
- Experience in nurturing and developing junior talent is preferred but not a prerequisite
- Sponsorship sales experience preferred but not a prerequisite

- Excellent relationship management skills: be a people person that can communicate with all levels of business and influence from top to bottom
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a keen eye for detail
- Strong presentation skills; an ability to engage a room and take people on a journey
- An adaptable, collaborative and solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to build trust and understanding amongst internal stakeholders to allow for cross-functional collaboration
- Be a strategic thinker that can demonstrate an awareness of the external environment when working at a tactical delivery level
- Be of a personality type that thrives off positivity, collaboration and teamwork
- Adaptability and a capacity for managing multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering under pressure
- Sufficient IT competency in Microsoft programmes including Outlook, Work, Excel and PowerPoint
- An interest in the sport of golf, an understanding of the commercial landscape of global golf, and an understanding of the Tour structure around the world of golf is preferred
- Language skills outside of English would be a plus
