Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for performing analysis of supply to demand of finished goods and volume bonding, elaborating a component and capacity feasible plan to satisfy demands along with any other strategic builds, leading consensus of priorities and ensuring agreed upon priorities are accurately being reflected in such plan. Will create daily Shop Order Packets per production plan and will publish plan summary to interested parties.
Will continuously maintain production plan to enable excellent communications within the department and with customers regarding product availability, along with manufacturing and inventory teams to ensure the plan's successful and accurate execution.
Other responsibilities include the generation of Planned vs. Actual reporting of production schedule, identifying main root causes for disparities along with periodic review of Master Schedule to thoroughly understand the global manufacturing strategy, and ensure that the daily production is in fact a reflection of such.
Will support the Supply Chain Department in continuous process improvement efforts, with the intent of improving the flow of materials from the supply base to our customers while guarding against inventory obsolescence, along with other analysis and/or projects on an as needed basis.
Will elaborate production plans to satisfy product life cycle needs. Managing ramp-up plans as they relate to the manufacturing strategy, labor planning and the dynamic demand.
Will play key role in coordinating the execution of last builds per the end of life process.
Metrics managed will include WIP levels and trends, while working with manufacturing to control such.
Performs special assignments as requested.

Work may be reviewed for overall accuracy and completeness.
Develops solutions to complex problems. Only the most critical problems are elevated to supervision.
Decision making authority on how to allocate the load to the factory's capacity
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in English and Spanish.
Excellent project management skills
Ability to analyze detail and perform structured decision-making on a daily basis.
Experienced in the use of standard Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for management reporting and presentation.
Strong knowledge of SAP or other similar enterprise wide MRP system.
High degree of initiative and ownership, attention to detail, and the discipline to follow through on assigned tasks.
General knowledge of industry practices, standards, and techniques.
Will be required to regularly apply scheduling, planning and control principles and concepts in execution of duties.
Ability to develop solutions to a variety of problems of large to very large scope and complexity, often creating or revising company or departmental policies in the process.
Ability to work well with, and in many cases lead, others in a cross-functional team environment.
Must be capable of managing several priorities effectively and be able to identify and recommend best course of action from several alternatives.
Must have ability to understand financial impact of decisions.
Must demonstrate hands on experience in implementing and/or using ERP and related computer systems and technologies in areas of Demand Planning, MPS, RCCP, MRP, SFC, APS, Logistics and Inventory Management Experienced in Project Management techniques/planning and managing launches of new products a plus.
Experienced in working in single and multiple Manufacturing Plant and Distribution Warehouse environments.
