GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT operations at our Evans, GA location. As an intern, you will assist in providing technical support to end users, contributing to IT projects, and ensuring adherence to company standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This role will help develop foundational IT skills in a professional, fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide support for Windows-based computers and mobile devices within an office and manufacturing plant environment, as well as remote users.
- Assist with imaging PCs to Windows 11 using imaging keys or PXE.
- Support software installations and configurations, including Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and Outlook.
- Help troubleshoot and configure printers, network file shares, and peripheral devices.
- Assist in setting up new users and performing computer moves, adds, and changes.
- Provide basic support for enterprise applications and escalate issues as needed.
- Participate in troubleshooting Xerox and Zebra devices.
- Assist with IT equipment setup and support for office moves and reconfigurations.
- Work on IT projects, including network hardware/IP telephony installations, in coordination with vendors.
- Track and manage IT assets, including replacements and refreshes, in collaboration with procurement.
- Monitor and document support activities in the trouble ticketing system, escalating as required.
- Learn to diagnose and resolve technical issues within SLA requirements.
- Adapt to a diverse, multicultural environment while working collaboratively with IT team members.
- The successful candidate will be exposed to each of these areas, gaining hands-on experience in IT operations and technical support.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Education:
- Currently enrolled pursuing a Degree in Information Technology related field.
Experience:
- Basic understanding of Windows-based computer support.
- Exposure to Microsoft Office products and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DHCP, and VPN connectivity.
- Experience with troubleshooting peripherals like printers and mobile devices is a plus.

- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic IT environment.
