Erskine Golf Club in Bishopton Renfrewshire, is arguably one of the finest golf courses in the West of Scotland, was designed by Troon Professional Willie Fernie, James Braid and Dr. Alister Mackenzie and has hosted many regional and national events including the Scottish PGA Championship
As we embark on an ambitious programme of ongoing course improvements, we are searching for a Greenkeeper to join our talented, hardworking team.
The successful applicant must help to deliver the highest standards of presentation for our members, guests and visitors and assist in delivering the Board’s vision of being the best course in the county.
Applicants should have the following attributes:
- Hold all qualifications that would be expected with this role. Ideally an SVQ Level 3 and PA1, PA2 and PA6.
- A knowledge of - and a willingness to learn more about - modern agronomic practices.
- Ability to work on their own or as part of a team
- Excellent course presentation skills.
- Previous relevant experience of West of Scotland weather and terrain.
- Willingness to be involved in in-house construction and improvement projects
- An understanding of basic machinery maintenance and care
- An understanding of golf course related Health and Safety
Remuneration will be based on skill level, qualifications and experience.
*Enhanced pay available for overtime hours*
