HISTORY
LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event Invitational Series with tournaments across the U.S., Europe and Asia. 2023 saw the first official season of the LIV Golf League, establishing the sport’s first professional golf teams captained by many of the game’s most decorated superstars competing in 14 events around the world.
The format respects golf’s history and traditions with updates for modern-day sports fans; three days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, and simultaneous team and individual competitions, offering a faster tournament that drives engaging storylines and offers an immersive fan experience. The League’s award-winning events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast to over 500 million homes worldwide, showcase world-class competition within a family-friendly environment. Music entertainment, live concerts and a festival-style atmosphere play a signature role with LIV Golf, a two-time winner of the World’s Best Golf Event from the World Golf Awards and a Sports Business Awards Finalist for Sports Event of the Year.
LIV Golf continues to expand its reach by bringing the League to new and returning markets featuring some of the most iconic venues in the world. It has also introduced free agency to professional golf, integrating end-of-season player promotion and relegation, team trades and offseason roster movement that drive year-round fan engagement embraced by many of the world’s most popular sports.

ROLE OBJECTIVE
We are looking for a core member of the Majesticks GC team, a sports franchise within the LIV Golf League, to
support the day to day management of our social media channels with a particular focus on content planning,
ideation, publishing, community management and reporting.. Reporting into the Head of Digital and Content of
Majesticks GC, this exciting role will encompass working with the digital marketing team internally along with
other stakeholders at a league level and with other teams within the LIV Golf League.
Our mission at Majesticks GC is ‘to be a winning team and thriving community, making the difference ond and
off the course’. This role will be crucial to delivering on that mission and ensuring we are effectively
communicating it to our fans alongside our core values (pioneering, shoulder to shoulder, distinctive & bigger
than us.)
Responsibilities
Alongside experience in growing and engaging audiences across various social media channels
around the world, the ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, a
passion for research and trends and a creative flair. Alongside the entire team, the role will be
focussed on achieving certain milestones and KPI’s linked to impressions, engagements and audience
growth with the overarching goal of being a leader amongst the peer group and in the market
overall. Specific responsibilities will be as follows:
Content Ideation
- Engaging in detailed research to ensure content suggestions and calendars are on brand, on trend, aligned with our mission and audience and with our KPI’s in mind
- Building content plans and related briefs to be filmed/captured/produced/edited both with and without our players and with our staff, friends of the team and influencers
Content Planning
- Building monthly content plans that align with our audience, team content strands and audience research.
- They will also consider other communication channels (email marketing wider league comms etc) to ensure a cohesive message is delivered across all comms channels.
- These content plans will also aim to: Ensure there is an equal weighting of player appearances in the content spread across our 4 players. Ensure we are focused on targeting specific audiences referring to our audience research and insights.
- Certain audiences will be targeted depending on what content strand it is, what players feature etc. Collaboratively work with the digital team to ensure this goes hand in hand with competitions being run, CRM initiatives and wider activations within the team.
- Weekly meeting with the digital marketing team to ensure everyone is aligned with output for the week ahead.
Content Publishing
- Publish content across Majesticks GC channels Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
- Publishing on other platforms when necessary.
- Set up, execution and management of paid campaigns when needed.i. Working with our in-house graphic designer to ensure all creative elements are of a high standard to ensure maximum return on investment.
Community Management
- Replying to comments and direct messages from fans to ensure we are consistently interacting with the people supporting us day in day out.
- Interacting with other accounts we follow both in the golf space and general sports world, to get our profile in front of more people. Our target audiences are all just golf fans.
Content Analysis
- Constant monitoring of top line numbers along with how we stack up against our peers to ensure we are meeting specific targets on a regular basis.
- Breakdown of what has worked well in the previous month and take these points into consideration when building out the content plan for the upcoming month.
- Regular insights into performance and areas that can be improved from a content point of view
Content Capture
- When needed, assisting with content capture of social briefs.
- This could be at LIV events, community and impact coaching days, partner shoots or other ad hoc filming days.
Qualifications and previous experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a creative field preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in programs such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, InShot and Photoshop.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High-level of commitment to a quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance.
- Strong understanding of social media industry on a global level with a focus on Majesticks GC’s key markets.
- Experience in social media.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and creatively solve day-to-day challenges.
- Ability to travel and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holiday.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Professional Golf (preferred).
