Position Summary: The Associate Vice President, IT Global Applications will lead the global application strategy, support services, project roadmaps. This role serves as the principal business partner across global business functions and markets and is responsible for ensuring the alignment of application services with business strategies, objectives, and our evolving global business model and processes. This role oversees the evolution, additions, and replacements of applications, and managing teams across various regions and production facilities worldwide. A visionary and key influencer, this role provides leadership to all global regions and creates a culture that inspires high impact, contribution, performance, and quality. Will participate as a key member of the company’s leadership team and will continually evaluate the company’s current and future IT Application needs and proactively develop and build the appropriate supporting structures.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
Global Application Strategy:
Develop, implement, and continually maintain a comprehensive global application vision and strategy that aligns with and enables the company’s business strategy and goals.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and applications to enhance business processes and productivity.
Maintains an effective global application target architecture and supporting roadmaps that ensures the scalability, security, and reliability of all application services.
Builds, aligns, manages transparent and efficient budgets that account for the needs of the business and department
Support Services:
Oversee global support services to ensure timely, effective, and efficient resolution of application-related issues within SLA’s
Implement best practices for application support and maintenance.
Monitor and improve service levels and customer satisfaction.
Project Management:
Provide leadership in the definition and delivery of projects to implement new applications and upgrade or replace existing ones.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, within scope, and meet quality standards and expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor teams supporting various regions and production facilities.
Foster a culture of engagement, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ensure the professional development and growth of team members.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build, nurture, and grow productive relationships with business leadership within supported areas of responsibility
Work closely with business leaders to understand their needs and ensure application services meet those needs.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Provide regular updates on the status of application services and projects.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Proven track record of developing and implementing global application strategies.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Experience with various application technologies and platforms.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on application services and project management.
10+ years leading global teams and providing strategic direction
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone usage.
Ability to work extended hours as necessary.
Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
Frequent travel may be required.
TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $215K – $275K. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
