As an Assistant Superintendent, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall quality and appearance of the golf course. Working closely with the Golf Course Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising the maintenance staff, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that the course meets high standards of playability and aesthetics. Your duties will include managing irrigation systems, applying fertilizers and pesticides, and conducting regular course inspections. Additionally, you will assist in developing and implementing maintenance plans, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for turfgrass management. You will need to have excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and interact with members and guests. A degree in turfgrass management or a related field is preferred, along with previous experience in golf course maintenance.
