Aliso Viejo Country Club seeks a qualified and motivated assistant superintendent to join our team.
Aliso Viejo CC is a member of the Clubcorp (Invited) family nestled in between the San Joaquin Hills and Santa Ana mountain range in south Orange County, CA. Established as a 27-hole club in 1998 under famed golf course architect Jack Nicklaus and his son Jack Nicklaus Jr., the course reduced to 18-holes in 2007. The course features Bandera Bermudagrass fairways, Tifway Bermudagrass roughs, Hybrid 419 Bermudagrass tees and poa annua greens.
This is a great opportunity for an individual to learn and grow their knowledge of turfgrass as well as gain experience in management and planning.
The assistant superintendent works closely with the superintendent to plan and execute daily maintenance, staff management, water management and chemical/ fertilizer applications.
Ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic. A 2 year turf degree is preferred in turfgrass management or 2 years of well rounded golf course experience is required. Toro irrigation system experience is a plus.
