Licensed Irrigation Technician

OHG Construction located in Plover, WI is looking for a Licensed Irrigation Technician to join our Golf Course Construction Division. The work would be located primarily in Texas, with willingness to travel. We are looking to hire immediately and pay is based on experience. Understanding of construction related items and language is beneficial but not required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. This position includes responsibility in the areas of installing and maintaining an irrigation system, overseeing its repair and maintenance, and planning and coordinating irrigation related activities and projects. This includes being responsible for all aspects of altering, repairing, and servicing an irrigation system.

General Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of irrigation employees to ensure efficient and effective project execution

Track and monitor project related supplies and equipment use for specific locations

Monitor safety of irrigation projects and irrigation team

Ability to use computer tracking processes

Facilitate communication flow to ensure timely and accurate information exchange

Plan and Organize daily tasks and assignments

Work Experience

2-3 years of golf course irrigation installation experience

Troubleshooting

Requirements:

Must be a licensed irrigation technician

Possesses excellent time management and communication skills

Possesses a valid driver's license

Must be able to pass a drug screen

Bilingual candidates encouraged

Job Type: Hourly

Pay: DOE

Schedule: Monday to Friday with weekend availability. 55 hours per week - overtime after 40 hours
