As a People & Training Coordinator, you’ll be the driving force behind our employees’ learning journeys, creating memorable experiences and crafting tailored training solutions. From coordinating company-wide training sessions to shaping induction programs, your work will directly impact our team’s development and success.
You’ll manage our training calendar, oversee the learning platform, and liaise with internal teams and external providers to deliver seamless and impactful training experiences. Key Responsibilities:
Training Coordination
- Organise training sessions for departments, stores, and the Retail Support Centre, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Maintain the training calendar, detailing all events and learning opportunities.
- Liaise with external providers to secure cost-effective, high-quality training solutions.
- Support internal and external events such as brand training, leadership days, and team-building activities.
Learning Platform Administration
- Develop and maintain engaging e-learning materials using expert knowledge and external resources.
- Keep accurate training records and provide compliance reports.
- Enrol employees in relevant training pathways and ensure a smooth user experience on our learning platform.
Employee Inductions
- Design bespoke induction programs for colleagues across all levels and locations.
- Collaborate with departments to develop comprehensive onboarding plans.
- Train managers to deliver induction programs effectively.
Training Needs & Resources
- Partner with department heads to identify and address training needs.
- Collaborate with trainers and subject matter experts to prepare training materials.
- Continuously improve our training programs using feedback from attendees.
People Development
- Contribute to leadership development, line manager training, and talent programs.
- Manage our apprenticeship schemes to attract and develop talent.
The Candidate:
- Exceptional Organisational Skills: Ability to meticulously plan and coordinate training sessions across various departments.
- Strong Communication Abilities: Proficiency in communicating proactively with internal stakeholders, training attendees, and external providers.
- Technological Proficiency: Capability to manage the organisation's learning platform effectively, including creating and developing e-learning materials, maintaining training records, and utilising technology to enhance the training experience.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to changing training needs and environments, whether conducting sessions in person or online.
- Creativity and Innovation: Aptitude for crafting engaging and tailored induction programs and training materials that resonate with employees.
- Collaborative Mindset: Willingness to collaborate with department heads, trainers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure training success.
- Leadership and Coaching Abilities: Capability to support the development of leadership programs, talent development initiatives, and apprenticeship schemes, guiding colleagues towards their personal best and career ambitions.
