As the Product Manager of Global Product Merchandising and Enrichment, you will be a critical part delivering a best-in-class digital product experience for TaylorMade Golf and family of brands across all regions. You will be the primary point of contact for regions to assist, recommend and execute online merchandising strategies leveraging analytics to improve the overall customer experience globally. You will work with each region to improve customer conversion, AOV and time on site by presenting TaylorMade Golf products in the right way, at the right time, and in the right combination. You will also be accountable for new product introduction across the regions by ensuring global products are enriched with the highest quality and ready for market according to the global marketing calendar. You will be the liaison between regions and HQ for merchandising and product information and collaborate closely with various departments to ensure regional needs are understood and successfully met.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage an on-site product life cycle process.
- Manage and review merchandise presentations on regional sites to ensure categorization, imagery, badging, product knowledge and pricing are accurate and meet brand guidelines.
- Consistent, daily maintenance of the online store, helping to ensure regions are executing predefined product merchandising strategies.
- Support weekly/monthly reporting efforts to include presenting a clear product narrative around results and recommendations.
- Conduct thorough regional site analysis to identify areas for improvement, such as navigation layout updates, PLP optimization, refining site search, cross selling, and upselling tactics.
- Partner for marketing Go To Market team for new product launch timelines
- Setup and enrich global (shared) products in PIM – including, macros, SKUs, descriptions, pricing, images, specifications, etc.
- Partner and collaborate with our SEO and Consumer Insights team members to ensure product key words are injected across PLP’s and PDP’s and A|B testing opportunities are suggested.
- Meet with Buyers and Merchandisers on seasonal assortment strategies to include attending seasonal go-to-market weeks.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Retention, Creative and Performance Marketing to drive demand through compelling emails, digital ads, and web content.
- Partner with Site Operations and Digital technology teams to ideate and deploy new features or tools aimed at boosting product sales.
- Partner in producing PDP (Product Description Page) photoshoots aligned with brand aesthetics.
- Performs other responsibilities as required
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Knowledge of merchandising back-end tooling; how to leverage them to support business needs (exposure to Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Monetate, Bloomreach, Salsify, Akeneo a huge plus)
- Highly proficient in Google analytics, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Deep experience managing consumer goods in lifestyle / active / sports industry
- Awareness of market trends, consumer interests and has a discerning, elevated POV
- Visual eye with the ability to curate strong assortments and site presentation; leveraging content to story tell around the product
- Comfortable managing and analyzing large sets of data, summarizing findings into concise product narratives, and driving data-backed decisions confidently
- Experience in a project management tool such as Confluence JIRA, Wrike, Asana
- Process driven, detail oriented and a problem solver
- Highly organized and methodical in approach with a proactive and curious mindset
- Ability to implement and learn new systems and process with urgency
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience working in a team-oriented / collaborative environment
- Passion for golf and/or sport preferred
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
- High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or related field preferred
- 5+ years’ of experience in buying, planning, or merchandising (OMNI experience preferred)
- Deep understanding of merchandising KPIs and how the user journey impacts those metrics
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Office environment, heavy computer use
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials
- Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach
TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
