In 2024, LIV Golf will further expand the reach of the League, splitting the schedule between some of the most iconic venues across Asia, Europe and the Middle East with decorated venues in the US. The full player pathway, created in partnership with the Asian Tour, also launches, with the game’s first ever player Promotion and Relegation, and Player Transfer Window, as the holistic integration of LIV Golf is fully delivered. Role Objective:
Fireballs GC is seeking a positive, upbeat, driven, motivated, creative candidate who is eager to elevate their career in the golf industry. We look for people who can grow, think, dream, and create. The Content Creator will report directly into the Social Media Manager to support the creation of digital content that tells the story of the Fireballs GC, engaging, and galvanizing fans of today and tomorrow across the golf industry. This role will support Fireballs GC in improving fan engagement across all digital touchpoints, optimizing existing media channels, facilitating the creation of unique content, supporting the objectives of our sponsors, and growing the scale and efficiency of digital media efforts. Content developed by the digital group will include, but not limited to, capturing, producing, designing static assets, social media management and communicating team performance. This person will be a key contributor in these work streams.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the day-to-day ideating, producing, and posting of content to all of Fireballs GC owned and operated social media channels.
• Assist with Fireballs GC graphic design efforts
• Monitoring social media platforms for relevant and trending opportunities to interact with golf fans, players, sports entertainment, and current events
• Capture photos and lo-fi content at all LIV Golf tournaments
• Collaborate with content team to grow and engage the Fireballs GC social media community
• Develop innovative ideas to grow LIV X subscribers
• Travel and social media coverage at all LIV Golf Tournaments
• Support content creation for Fireballs GC revenue efforts such as merchandise, sponsored content and tickets sales.
• Supporting and executing sponsored content obligations that align fan and partner needs to generate authentic engagement.
Experience:
• 2-3 year of experience in Digital Media, Interactive Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
• Must showcase a digital portfolio of work samples \
• Experience in the golf industry is a plus
• Experience managing social media accounts
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of:
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Adobe Suite – Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, After Effects
• Social Media Platforms – Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok
• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and think creatively. • Excellent writing and proof-reading skills, including superior attention to detail
• Basic skills in capturing and editing platform-specific photo and video content, using both cell phone and DSLR camera.
• Basic skills in graphic design
• A very hands-on and "can do" attitude, with the ability to operate well under pressure and adapt quickly to a changing environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to speak and write in Spanish
