The Business Operations and Strategic Partnerships Lead for PGA Digital will manage existing media partnerships with a focus on strategic PGA priorities. Work internally with key stakeholders spearheading content and brand/marketing efforts, and externally with broadcast and digital media partners, technology platforms, and other entities. Manage key departmental responsibilities with respect to the annual budget, support occasional new business opportunities, and lead the team in key meetings, agendas, and recaps.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):
Account management of existing strategic partner relationships while collaborating with external and internal teams to drive results. Manage post sale day-to-day engagement with key PGA Digital strategic partners ensuring deal points are successfully delivered.
Foster strong relationships by leading partner and internal meetings inclusive of strategic brainstorms, progress reports, timelines and financial tracking. Develop partnership summaries, and proposals and help build internal processes to ensure deal points are met.
Build relationships with external broadcast and digital media partners and seek opportunities to exploit rights and leverage assets creating win-win scenarios during the PGA major championship season.
Monitor the digital media ecosystem and identify trends that could lead to revenue generation opportunities for PGA Digital.
Support PGA Digital business development efforts that create digital-first revenue streams against key Association priorities. Support the entire sales process which may include but is not limited to partner prospecting, development of sales materials, and contract review and execution.
Support broader PGA Digital team across various projects during PGA operated major championships.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Assist with the development and maintenance of the annual budget for PGA Digital and support the management of communicating accurate forecasts to applicable departments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Five years experience working in digital media, partnership development, partnership management, e-commerce and/or sports business/event operations.
Direct work experience at a sports organization, agency, live event business, digital publisher, or TV broadcast network is preferred. Google Ads Manager experience preferred
Experience in 3rd digital media platforms (for purposes of business partnerships), such as YouTube, Social Media, vMVPDs. among others.
Experience with Workday preferred.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding departmental goals.
A demonstrated understanding of the golf industry and a passion for the game is preferred.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Must have knowledge of partnership management within a digital media environment. Knowledgeable and savvy with all digital communication tools, such as G Suite (Gmail, G Doc, Sheets, Drive, Analytics), mobile devices, video conferencing, Analytics and Ad Operations platformsMust be very organized with the ability to work against many timelines, and be able to self-manage day-to-day activities. Skills in written and oral communication and presentation skills that provide the ability to interact with senior levels in the organization. Must convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused and concise manner. Must work harmoniously with others to get a job done and put team goals above personal objectives. Ability to successfully gain cross-functional support and cooperation in improving processes and implementing initiatives.Knowledge and fluency in digital workplace organizational tools such as Asana, JIRA, Figma, Vimeo, and Dropbox among others. Ability to create timelines and maintain deadlines. Ability to be intellectually curious and dive into complex partnerships, systems, and processes to understand the business environment and problem solve business issues. Ability to effectively use time and resources available to achieve project goals. Must have extensive knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel up to 15%.
