Job Overview
The Golf Course Grounds Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of the golf course. This position is responsible for overseeing all groundskeeping activities, ensuring that the course is well-maintained, visually appealing, and provides a fun and memorable experience for the golfers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in golf course maintenance, landscape maintenance and lawn care, with hands-on experience using standard golf course equipment and both hand and power tools.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily groundskeeping operations, including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and watering the golf course.
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution across the course.
- Oversee golf course maintenance tasks such as, but not limited to mowing greens/tees/fairways/rough, raking bunkers, setting cups and tee markers, irrigation maintenance and repair, trimming along fence lines/around tree/lake edges, etc. to enhance the visual appeal of the golf course grounds.
- Conduct regular inspections of the course to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
- Train and manage groundskeeping staff of 1 -2 to ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in golf care and maintenance.
- Utilize standard golf course equipment, hand tools and power tools effectively for various golf course and landscaping tasks.
- Implement pest control measures as necessary to protect plant health and maintain course integrity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in golf course, lawn care, landscape maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and groundskeeping practices.
- Proficiency in using standard golf course equipment, hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration and training.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- A valid driver's license may be required for operating equipment on-site.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
