Variable dependant on the needs of the Club
Main Purpose of Job
To provide a quick and efficient waitress service in the dining room and bar area, while supporting Food & Beverage Manager with various duties in the kitchen and behind the bar.
Job Location
The Clubhouse of Long Ashton Golf Club and any other designated area in which the club has a licence to serve food and beverage.
Responsibilities
To provide such service as is required by the Club by means of table or silver service;
To serve such food and drink as is required in the bar areas as decided by the club.
Duties
Serving members and Visitors at their tables for both the food and drink selections;
Collecting up all used cutlery and crockery in the designated areas;
Glass collection and cleaning;
Pot washing;
Any other duties as directed by the Food & Beverage Manager, or in their absence from the Assistant Food & Beverage Managers;
Issuing of bills for all food and drink served and ensuring the bill is settled, reporting any discrepancies to the Food & Beverage Manager.
To clearly understand any members or guests dining who have arranged credit facilities and policy to be followed.
Conditions
All staff must report immediately to the Food & beverage Manager any illness or other situation that would make it an offence to deal with the serving of food.
The club's Health & Safety Regulations must be strictly observed at all times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
