Overview
Manchester Country Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. This position will report to the Director of Golf overseeing the entire golf operation. This year-round position has some flexibility on start date, but the ideal candidate would start in March. The Head Golf Professional will help to manage the golf shop and related services to meet the needs of the members in a consistent and professional manner.

About the Club
Established in 1923, Manchester Country Club is the one of the oldest member-owned, private clubs in New Hampshire. Situated just outside of New Hampshire’s largest city, and just 50 miles north of Boston, Manchester Country Club boasts a 100 year old Donald Ross golf course. It has played host to numerous Amateur Championships and PGA sectional events over the past 100 years. This hidden gem is regarded as one of the best in state and will continue its pathway of restoring the golf course to its original design with the guidance of architect Ron Forse.
Essential Responsibilities
The ideal candidate should display a passion for the game of golf and a track record of high quality engagement with fellow staff, members and club guests.
- PGA Member A1, A8 in good standing
- Experience as a lead assistant or high ranking assistant
- Service-oriented with a positive upbeat attitude, attention to detail, excellent communication skills.
- Excellent tournament operations background
- Strong comprehension of Microsoft Office, experience using Golf Genius tournament software, and P.O.S. systems (Jonas experience preferred).
- Merchandising, Inventory control and Invoice experience.
- Junior Golf Experience
- Experience with TrackMan, Simulator Golf and club fitting.
- Self-motivated and team oriented.
- Strong teaching and playing skills.
