We are committed in our ambition to win in Central Europe and are now looking for a Country Sales Manager to support the Senior Sales Manager for Central and Southern Europe by leading the sales team and driving business growth within Germany.
As Country Sales Manager for Germany, you will oversee daily sales operations, mentor and train sales staff, analyse market trends, and identify new business opportunities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize sales processes and ensure customer satisfaction will also be essential.
Living near to one of the larger cities, the ideal candidate will have a passion for golf and a strong background in sales management with a proven ability to lead a team, execute strategic sales plans, achieve sales targets, and
build lasting customer relationships.
A snapshot of the day to day:
- Assist with the creation of a Commercial Plan for Germany
- Assist with developing and implementing strategies to manage and grow key strategic accounts
- In partnership with departmental heads and cross functional teams, develop meaningful experiential, in-store and communication programmes
- Provide regular business forecasts and reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, using all relevant sales data.
- Assist the Senior Sales Manager to mentor and develop a high performing sales team
- Lead and direct ASMs to ensure they are fully aware of the commercial results to be achieved in a set timeframe
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching to maximise team performance
- Accompany Area Sales Manager with key/strategic accounts to drive optimisation of commercial growth/results by account
- Provide sales performance measurement and analysis for region in conjunction with ASMs
What we are seeking?
- Significant sales experience, preferably within golf, sporting or consumer goods
- Demonstrable experience of successfully leading a team
- Experience and a track record of successfully managing key accounts
- Ability to address complex issues and improve process, techniques and product sales programs.
- Strong negotiating and motivational skillset with both external and internal parties.
- Proficiency in thinking strategically, defining business opportunities or risk, analysing abstract and concrete data and creating sales solutions.
- Proven results-oriented background of performance and achievement of goals.
- Fluent verbal and written English communication skills required.
