Role Objective
The Manager, Sales will execute the ticket and hospitality business development strategy with the aim of maximizing sales and revenue and achieving event and personal KPIs. They’ll work in close connection with each local market, venue host and club membership base to drive ticket and hospitality revenue.
Responsibilities
- Focused on US based events. Supporting all events when needed.
- Major focus on outbound efforts towards businesses to generate net new business.
- Tasked with selling all hospitality and experiential products with a heavy focus on private hospitality, semi-private hospitality and experiences.
- Act as the main point of contact for agencies helping sell for US events.
- Develop relationships with venue host and their respective membership group to capitalize on revenue opportunities and ensure a positive experience for all involved with the club.
- Fly into market as needed to conduct in-person meetings with C-Suite individuals and other decision makers who are prospective hospitality buyers.
- Host and present at on-site sales prospect events or others business networking events.
- Prepare and update sales presentations.
- Tracking all interactions (calls, emails, meetings, opportunities, etc.) in CRM for efficient sales management and tracking.
- Provide accurate clean reporting and forecasting to management as needed.
- Achieve and exceed event revenue targets.
- Work closely with marketing, event delivery and hospitality service to drive revenue opportunities, accurate forecasting and high level of customer experience.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience achieving or exceeding personal KPIs in a hospitality or premium sales role with a major sports or live entertainment organization.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce, and the ability to contribute effectively.
- Proven track record to build rapport, present solutions and close business with high level corporate decision makers.
- History of contributing insights to pricing, marketing, product, and business development strategies.
- Experience in considering the customer experience in relation to all ticket sales channels and troubleshooting problems to resolution.
- Experience in delivering accurate CRM utilization and reporting to management when needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google platforms.
- Strong organizational skills, encompassing time management, prioritization, forward planning, and adherence to deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
The hiring range for this position in New York ranges from $80,000-$110,000 USD.
