Role Objective
The VP. Ticketing & Hospitality Sales will support the SVP, Ticketing & Hospitality in leading a global business development strategy, building effective relationships across all LIV Golf events and partners to yield revenue across all channels.
They will lead a team based in the US and UK, who will have a heavy outbound approach proactively looking for trends and be ready to act to capitalize on them. The VP, Sales will ensure that sales and activity reporting is shared and understood by key stakeholders to ensure that information flows effectively. They’ll work in close connection across entire business and our Event Partners to ensure ticketing strategy is exercised across all channels.
Responsibilities
- Personally, and also lead a team who is tasked with building relationships with businesses in local markets to LIV Golf events to drive hospitality revenue, using on-site presentations and targeted outreach to corporations and community constituents to maximize revenue.
- Develop a thorough business development strategy for each market that has a consistent and reliable approach while adapting to market nuances.
- Build relationship with Event host club leveraging local network and Club Members.
- A player-coach leading a high-performing and diverse team to deliver outstanding results, establishing a culture that is built on achieving KPIs.
- Work directly with CRM (Salesforce) team to create process and across their team for CRM tracking, accountability and cleansing.
- Heavily involved in contributing to pricing suggestions, on-sale strategies, product enhancements, and business development initiatives.
- Working closely with the event delivery and EMC teams for proper communication and inventory management.
- Work closely with all third-party ticket partners and agencies, ensuring revenue optimization and efficient processes are followed.
- Oversee the functions reporting needs, ensuring ticketing inventory is managed and up to date, focusing on weekly/daily ticket and hospitality sales.
- Manage the business development budgeting, targeting, and forecasting processes for internally produced work, enabling data-driven decision-making, and foreseeing operational considerations to provide accurate projections.
- Collaborate closely with internal colleagues across the business, in particular the marketing and insights team to ensure the correct data and research is in place to correctly identify key trends and opportunities.
- Lead and present in-person and virtual presentations to drive commercial revenue.
- Travel often in-market entertaining and build relationships with current and prospective clients, prior to and during LIV Golf events.
Experience
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) managing a high-performing fast paced team.
- Background successfully utilizing CRM platform to optimize revenue opportunities and accurately forecast business.
- Experience minimum 10 years in selling premium hospitality and tickets, preference in sport or live entertainment.
- Understanding and knowledge of primary ticketing systems, and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
- Experience contributing to pricing and on-sale strategies, ideas for developing revenue streams and delivering KPIs.
- Experience of managing outsourced (agency) contracts and relationships.
- Experience of considering the customer experience in relation to all hospitality and ticket sales channels and troubleshooting problems to resolution.
- Experience of delivering financial information and statistical data.

The hiring range for this position in New York ranges from $170,000-$200,000 USD.
