Fixed-Term Contract Position: February to August
Position Summary:
Responsible for servicing the golf retail and corporate logo business across Canada. They will primarily manage orders & artwork through the system from order creation to completion. Working cross-functionally, he/she will support the execution of new service and program implementations. The Custom Logo Associate Specialist will partner with sales reps, distributors and golf retailers to ensure that Custom Logo sales communication, sales tools, and samples are communicated and processed effectively. Custom logo products include golf balls, gloves, golf bags, luggage and headwear.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for order management for the corporate and golf retail logo businesses, supporting sales reps and distributors/golf courses:
- Sales representative correspondence includes: (but not exclusive to)
- Stock inquires and product availabilities when they are on the road.
- Problems with an order pricing, substitution of product, ETA’s of product.
- Will also involve having a close working relationship with our DC to ensure products are shipped complete.
- Complete special pricing and credit order forms.
- Distributors/Golf course correspondence includes: (but not exclusive to)
- Any issues as outlined above with reps.
- Artwork approvals.
- Price lists, promotion & program sell-sheets, product images.
- B2B issues including logging on, passwords, and training them on the web portal.
- Ensure timely and accurate order entry of logo orders & artwork for all account types and work with pad printers, embroidery and metallic ball marker vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
- Work with credit department staff to release held Custom Logo orders to ensure delivery times are met.
- Review open order reports for Custom Logo order types to ensure orders are processing complete.
- Attend and participate in any Department Meetings, Product Knowledge or Technical Training Sessions as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Professional Certification and Work Experience:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma required in Business, Arts, or related discipline
- 1-3 years of successful customer service experience in a service environment is preferred.
- Working knowledge of golf products not required, but would be an asset.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Demonstrates initiative and is motivated to get the job done
- Strong English written, communication and interpersonal skills are a must
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
- Graphic art knowledge an asset, but not a requirement, (Illustrator, Photoshop, Wilcom Embroidery)
- Proficient with TaylorMade Golf Company’s operating systems preferred, (Oracle, B2B, Cricket, Domo, Silhouette etc.)
- Should be positive, patient, and dedicated, ability to handle conflict and stays calm while handling challenging situations. Ideal candidates must be highly energetic and motivated
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Light physical effort required lifting or moving lightweight materials.
- Normal office conditions, consistent phone use.
- Ability to work extended hours as seasonally required
